Frank's extensive commercial experience arises from 49 years in the Law and his several Directorships. His community service includes Military Reserve, Sporting (Patron, LM), Service (Rotary PHF, Masonry, Probus LM).

Ken has considerable experience in the financial and business management of independent schools, working on national committees in the industry and in the financial management of multi-national corporations.

Dance Therapist at Forsight Australia from May 2007, developing and implemented an innovative psychotherapy program for adults with dual sensory impairment.

Kirsty was a member of the Leadership Team and was an independent member of the Restricted Practices Authority Panel (RPAP) in 2015. Kirsty dance therapy students participated in social events and dance concerts in the community at dance venues such as Darling Harbour and Balmain.

Kirsty resigned from position of Social Educator at Forsight Australia in March 2016 to take up a position as Project Officer in Digital Research at the University of Sydney.

Joined the Board in 2016.

DAVID LONG MBA, Certificate Level 3 in Public Administration, Bachelor of Arts UWS

David has a MBA in Marketing and more than 19 years experience in Government working directly in government Health and Social Policy. David has achieved recognition internationally as a researcher into issues affecting people with a disability and has a wealth of experience working in public relations.

David’s involvement with the NDS extended to participating as an ACT representative on the sub group of council chairs from around the country who were brought together to inform the Disability Officials Working Group to plan an important advisory role in the early stages of the development of the NDIS.

Awarded a Churchill fellowship in 2005, David undertook research in universities through the UK and Ireland, including research at Oxford University, Cambridge University and Trinity College in Dublin. Current employment from 2013 – Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet in the ACT. Previously employed from 2003 with the Department of Health and Ageing. From 2009-2014 – Chair ACT Minister’s Disability Advisory Council. Currently - ACT expert panel for the introduction of the NDIS.

Peter has worked in Australia and overseas. As founder of a company specialising in high speed data capture and voice recognition, he worked with quadriplegics to help them control their environments by voice commands.

Carol is an educator with over 40 years of experience. Her concern for people has been evidenced teaching immigrant youth, running pastoral care programs and serving as a member of an indigenous immersion program.

John has extensive public sector management experience, particularly in TAFE NSW, Education and in overseas agencies. John has been a member of Community service organisations, including the Rotary Club of Carlingford.

Anne is a CPA and leadership coach with extensive experience (over 35 years) as an educator. She has used her professional expertise and skills to service on Boards and assist many not-for-profit sector organisations.

Don worked 43 years in the copier and aluminium industries in various management positions and finally as Executive Group General Manager – Metals with Crane Group Limited before retiring in 2004.

President and Chairman of various work related industry and educational organisations.

President of Ryde Apex Club, member of he Rotary Club of Carlingford and Foundation President of the Probus Club of Carlingford-North Rocks.

Don is married to Heather, he has two daughters and three grandchildren.
